Boozy White Chocolate Egg "Screams"

First of all. Four ingredients.

Second of all. Looks really pretty.

Third of all. PUNS.

That’s all you really need to know about these white chocolate egg (s!)creams, which taste like a dream (of the Tevye variety) and are the perfect complement to any Halloween Shabbat tablescape.

Because you are hosting Halloween Shabbat this year, right?

K good. Glad that’s settled.

There’s just one teensy problem with this egg cream recipe. And I was totally going to hide it and just hope you never found out. But in the spirit of the new year and being a decent human and all THAT, I figured I should tell you.

So here goes.

*clears throat*

And you know I never speak in hyperbole.

The black sugar rim is the culprit. The colors run!! It’ll get on your lips. And your guests’ lips. And the tablecloth. And the ceiling. And all your loved ones and worldly possessions.

Your living room, tablecloth, shirt, cat, family, and life will be marred forevermore by unfortunate grayish streaks.

But that, friends, is just a risk you’re going to have to take.

For cuteness’ sake.

…Or you can forego the black rim, I suppose.

Anyway, if anyone does figure out how to make a pretty rim for these guys without, you know, wrecking your entire home in the process, please let me know.

The rest of the recipe is pure gold. 😅 Promise! And would make for a fabulous and oh-so-punny addition to any Halloween party.

Recipe follows.

P.S. One more thing! These guys are actually part of a larger series of Halloween Shabbat ideas comin’ to the blog THIS WEEK! Hold tight. Check back. Check back again. Maybe sign up for the newsletter. Maybe follow me on Instagram.

P.P.S. Another thing! Have you seen my DIY egg cream bar yet? Because I’m thinking these guys would make an excellent addition to it.
